March 23, 2007Grass Roots & Gun RightsKelley Beaucar Vlahos at Fox News has a piece on the gun rights blogosphere and touches on coming battles with Democrats, gun control, and the Jim Zumbo affair. Definitely worth a read, and not just because I'm quoted. . . [The man's ego is insufferable! --ed.] Comments
A good article actually, fairly well balanced. This shocks me, even with it being from FOX News. -Yuri http://camasgunguy.blogspot.com Does anyone have any info on dZumbo's article being read into the Congressional Record. If so It's great to see it being used to justify more Gun Control! Who needs guns anyway. You can dial 911, call your Senator & Representative, take a acourse in criminal physcology & find some reason to love the forlorn bastard that attacted you & yours. Besides, the Federal Court system is always there for our protection, with decisions that take God & the Individual Liberty's out of all our lives. I'm happy to have the NO.# tattoed on my forhead, & my dose of TV brainwashing. Hay, & what about the federal prosecutors giving illegals 7 chances before their prosecuted? Sounds good to me. Seven times less work for them & the court system to do. The head of the border patrol union say's it's okay! How can you disagree with that. signed, Awesome blog! I'm with you 100%!!! Re: [[[ "Jeff Soyer, who runs the popular Alphecca.com, said he avoided the original "dust-up" over Zumbo and was sorry Zumbo's career is now in tatters. "I think it was an overreaction considering Zumbo's apologetic statements afterwards," he said. ]]] The fact that apologetic statements managed to fall out of Zumbo's mouth, once he noticed that all his "career"'s starboard engines were engulfed in flames, doesn't address the question, "What could possibly have been in Zumbo's mind, to begin with?" Suppose the CEO of Grumman, or of Lockheed-Martin, were to say, at a press conference, "Well, I like planes. But, I don't like jet fighters at all. In fact, frankly, I think they're kind of obscene." Any subsequent apologies by such a CEO would still leave one gasping for air, as one tries to imagine how this person could even have said such a thing in the first place. Great so see you quoted by Fox, buddy! Posted by: Ken Summers at March 25, 2007 08:00 PMthe comment input form disappears. Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that. By Golly, you're reading an archived post.
