Boy, that makes me want to...

go and out build my own computer. (or buy from a different company...say, you use an Apple, right? How's Apple's support? Have you ever needed it?)

Truthfully, no. When I got my iMac six years ago (and it's still my workhorse computer) I got the AppleCare support package. Waste of money 'cause I never have had a problem of any sort.

I am starting to think of a new computer because this old iMac is old, only a G3, and chugs along at only 600mhz.

For $1300 bucks I can get the new 17" duel G5 iMac (the one where the whole computer is in the screen) and use modern software, etc. . .

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that.
