February 16, 2007Quick LinksI've got a busy day ahead and it's starting early so rather than a series of posts, here's some quick links for you to explore... From the LA Times, four new gun control bills proposed. Actually, I shouldn't say they're new, just the usual, tired legislations that will do nothing to fight gang violence, the main cause of gun crime. From Men's News Daily, an interesting op-ed by John Longenecker explaining that gun control is the ultimate act of corrupt politicians. In Hawaii, a jump in handgun permit applications. From the Marshal Democrat-News (MO) comes a fine op-ed by Bob G. Stewart warning that our gun rights are in jeopardy. And as always, check out Gun Law News for a blogospheric wrap-up. Comments
Could you plase inform the people that there is only one comma in the 2nd amendment and it is after the word state. That is the way it was written (you can check in D.C.) and the more that are put in the more obscure the meaning. Posted by: John at February 18, 2007 11:58 AMthe comment input form disappears. Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that. By Golly, you're reading an archived post.
