Et Tu, Brutus?

Hot on the heels of my praising him, I see Glenn Reyolds suggesting that he's actually considering voting for Hillary:

"...And hey, maybe Hillary really will turn out to be "the most uncompromising wartime President in the history of the United States." Plus, Markos doesn't like her."

Maybe he's forgotten this:

Hillary Rodham Clinton offered her support for a legislative proposal to license hand guns. The legislation, sponsored by Sen. Charles Schumer, would require anyone who wants to purchase a gun to obtain a state-issued photo gun license.

“I stand in support of this common sense legislation to license everyone who wishes to purchase a gun,” Clinton said. “I also believe that every new handgun sale or transfer should be registered in a national registry, such as Chuck [Schumer] is proposing.”

I suspect that I'm reading more into his remarks from that post than they deserve and far more than he actually intended. I can't bring myself to believe that he would vote for Hillary.

Still, while the threat of attack from terrorist muslems is real and present, so is the threat to our right to protect ourselves personally and on a collective basis from thugs both outside and from within our nation from homegrown criminal mutants. Hillary would deny law-abiding citizens the right to protect and defend themselves and, as well, our nation on an individual, personal, patriot basis.

Hell will freeze over ten times before I cast a vote to let Hillary Clinton guide our nation and our rights. Democrats: Take note! You will NOT win 2008 by alienating four million gun-rights voters.

This shocking statistic: Only 16% of murders result in arrest in LA County, and only 1/3 serve jail time. That is right, kill another human being and you have only a 6% chance of doing time. So those of you that have your head up your arse, thinking that the government will protect you or render assistance when you need it most, WTFU. Just look at N.O., but then again, they still don't get it there.

Actually, I do believe that he is joking. The line he quotes, "the most uncompromising wartime President in the history of the United States," is from a ant-history book entitled "Weapons of Choice." I highly doubt that Prof. Reynolds, in any case, would stoop so low as to vote for Sen. Clinton.

More than 4 million. That is just the number of NRA members. I'm not a member of the NRA, but I certainly wouldn't vote for Clinton just based on her support of gun control.

Bare with me for a moment: Maybe we should vote for the Hildabeast...

With her as president, it is almost certain that a critical mass of citizens will embrace the brilliance of Thomas Jefferson.

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
-- Thomas Jefferson

It's bear, not bare.

It's heels, not heals.

Than-kew.

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that.
