Cop Dead Because Judge Didn't Do His Job

Marco Lee is a piece of crap. From the Denver Channel TV:

Lee, 25, was pulled over for suspected drunk driving when he allegedly pulled out a gun and opened fire on the officers, Colorado Springs police said.

DUI Officer Ken Jordan died after being shot multiple times. He had his bulletproof vest on but died at Memorial Hospital about 45 minutes after the shooting.

Lee was also shot several times. He is in good condition at Memorial Hospital.

So what does this have to do with a judge? Read on:

According to police, Lee was arrested twice earlier this year: once for a car chase and the second on suspicion of drunken driving and carrying a concealed weapon.

In March, he had been stopped for speeding on I-25. When the officer told him that he was going 80 mph in a 55-mph zone, Lee shouted, "You're f------ crazy. You're out of your f------ mind," according to a court affidavit.

Lee took the ticket and then sped off, cutting into traffic. The officer pursued him and stopped him again. Lee refused orders to get out of the car and took off. He left his car several blocks away and officers found him hiding in the neighborhood, according to a court affidavit.

He was convicted of felony vehicular eluding and received a three-year deferred sentence plus 200 hours community service. That was in April. The DUI arrest occurred in May.

What is it going to take to get society to build more jails and stick mutants like Lee into them?

What's interesting is that the bias of this article is about the fact that Lee posed on MySpace with his guns. I don't consider that a de facto indication that someone is a manace to society since, well, there are pictures of ME posing with guns on this here website. I'm not going around killing people!

Well, Lee didn't go around killing anyone until just now, so obviously you're a psychopath waiting for the right moment!

The logic is inexorable, as you can see.

Hell, give him a badge. He doesn't seem different than a Hell of a lot of them.

Did he shoot through a door?

Give who a badge, str8arrow? Lee? If that's what you're arguing, you need to check your stats. There are bad cops out there, just like in any group, but the vast, VAST majority of police are good decent people who are getting paid crap to do a job neccessary for the functioning of society.

Tell that to Kathryn Johnston. and many others.

Look, I'm not happy about the cop getting killed. But I am damn sure tired of our community death squads, and worse, I am sick of hearing the whining because it ain't easy.

If you can't do it right, don't do it. Before you say it, I have a son and a brother that are cops. I love them both, though one of them doesn't love me.

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that.
