November 12, 2006Feingold Won't Run for Pres.Because it's never too early to think about the next election... From Yahoo/AP:
Too bad, he's one of the few Democrats I'd have considered voting for (depending on who the Republicans were running) because of his belief that the Second Amendment is an individual right worth defending. Also, it would have been neat having a nice jewish boy in the White House, just to drive the far left crazy! Posted by Jeff Soyer at November 12, 2006 07:30 AM Comments
You'd be willing to vote for one half of the McCain-Feingold First Amendment Suppression And Incumbent Protection Act? I'm a little disappointment that you'd trade pro-2A for anti-1A. Posted by: Rick C at November 12, 2006 01:34 PMAs I said in the post, depending on who the Republican running was. If it was Guiliani or McCain, maybe so since both of them have poor records on gun rights. Actually, while McCain is about a "C" on it, Rudy doesn't believe citizens should be allowed to own guns period. So, yes, if one of them was on the Republican ticket -- a very likely possibility, then yes, I would have voted for someone such as Feingold. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that. By Golly, you're reading an archived post.
