Jeff Cooper

Never Yet Melted has details of his career and accomplishments. May he rest in peace. We all owe a lot to him and his wisdom, not to mention his fight for our rights.

Aw man. RIP, Mr. Cooper.

A true American patriot is gone.

It is a sad day.

Col. Cooper was one of my heros. A high point of my visit to the 2004 NRA convention was meeting him and having him sign my copy of his book. A large part of my interest in the M1911 is due to his writings. As he said, almost all other pistols are an answer to a question that hasn't been asked. (paraphrasing)

I too will miss him greatly. A site for all to visit who are unfamiliar with his work. http://harris.dvc.org.uk/jeff/

Well, I now have no reason to keep my subscription to Guns and Ammo. He was the only reason I've kept it.

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that.
