I recently read Radley Balko's article on the militarization of the police, and it causes me to wonder the possible interaction of the "castle doctrine" laws and the use of militarized SWAT teams being used for search warrant service. I fear that more tragedies will occur. my position is that SWAT teams do not need to be used for every warrant. Furthermore, there needs to be consequences for the so-called mistakes. At least there's something good happening in the Wolverine State... the comment input form disappears. Your comments are welcome. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well.
