Meanwhile at the UN...

Cam Edwards continues his coverage of the gun-grabbing fest with his Town Hall column, Day Three. Think this isn't about stopping civilian gun ownership? Here's a quotation:

Hearing Angola and Cambodia detail their plans for rounding up all the guns owned by civilians is kind of like hearing that the Dixie Chicks are writing a song about America. You just know something bad’s going to happen in the end. And yet, that’s exactly what we heard on day 3 of the UN’s summit on small arms (Angola and Cambodia, not the Dixie Chicks. They haven’t been granted a seat on the Security Council… yet).

Read the whole thing. Don't forget he will also have live coverage on his radio show starting at 3:00 PM (eastern).

I think Ken Summers has the right idea, a Hundred Million Victims Petition of those killed by oppressive governments and whom lacked the means to defend themselves!

In regards to Cambodia, clearly Cam Edwards has not the slightest clue what he is talking about. Cambodia needs more weapons like Dick Cheney needs another triple bacon cheese burger.

Cambodia has a history of slaughtering unarmed victims. Maybe it's time they had a chance to shoot back.

Just wait till the Rwandans get to stand up with the Cambodians and announce their plans to the UN...

Angola and Cambodia want their citizens to have zero fireams...Yeah....Right...Um...I seem to vaguely remember something about tens- to hundreds-of-thousands up to millions of unarmed civilian folks biting the big one in those countries at the hands of either murderous govenments or rebels or tribal militias...doesn't anyone else remember these things?

That's rather like the fox speaking out on eliminating beaks and spurs from roosters so that future visits to the henhouse will be safer...for the fox, anyway. SICK, the UN is SICK beyond healing...lets put it out of its misery.

Yeah, this is a good case of the foxes guarding the hen house: "Don't worry little chickies, we, the all-powerful governments, will protect you...ignore those 100,000,000 corpses behind the curtain; heh heh." To use more bad animal analogies, the wolves of the UN are going to vote on how many guns the lambs get to have: goose egg. We are witnessing a type of World Fascism: the worship of the U.N. UberStadt as the ONLY font of the "Good", the "True" and the "Beautiful".

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that.
