May 12, 2006Tacoma: Armed Clerk Saves CouncilmanThanks to reader Richard Gardner for this one. From the News Tribune (WA):
They got the license plate of the attacker (who drove away) and I imagine there can't be too many black Jaguars in the area. Interesting that the story leaves out the identity of the "armed clerk" who came to the rescue. Fortunately, CCRKBA notes that his name is Dan Korba and our hat tips to him. I wonder why that is that MSM wouldn't play up the angle that an armed citizen prevented a crime...? (That's a rhetorical question.) Comments

Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that. By Golly, you're reading an archived post.
