March 17, 2006Friday SurveillanceI, of course, bring nothing intelligent to the table when John at Castle Argghhh! has military pr0n and asks for captions or comments. So I'll sink back into my swamp simply stating that it reminded me of a time, 21 years ago, when I was in the hospital and had a catheter inserted... Moving to a somewhat smaller caliber discussion, Kim du Toit has a hankering for a bull barrel .22 rifle. Mr. Completely has a new toy, a Taurus 66 revolver. And he likes it. No surprise, I had a blued one myself several years ago and you all know how I feel about Taurus; I think they're fine guns. And yes, they did buy up all of S & W's old equipment a long time ago. Jed at FreedomSight reports that the anti-smoking health nazies have arrived in Colorado. They showed up here in Vermont a long time ago and now are moving on New Hampshire. I'm not going to defend smoking but why not just leave it up to the restaurant and bars? If they want to allow smoking or they want to prohibit it, let them choose to and then market forces will determine who is successful. As for the argument that workers should be protected, they have the right to apply for a job in which ever establishment best suits their own health concerns. It's kind of like, if you don't like smoke, don't take a job in a smoking-allowed bar. For that matter, don't become a fireman. Many jobs have risks. If you're afraid of heights, don't apply for a job in high-rise construction. Are you allergic to pollen? Don't work in a flower shop. But that would be too simple; it would force the sheeple to make adult decisions for themselves about employment. Liberals want to control every facet of our lives and save us from everything. If only there were a way to protect us from them! Comments
Liberals want to control every facet of our lives and save us from everything. If only there were a way to protect us from them! Fine news. I love this blog!:) Posted by: VIP at March 18, 2006 09:34 AMQuick! Ban peanut butter from elementary schools! Oh, thank god; they already did. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that. By Golly, you're reading an archived post.
