She's A Beauty!

...And the girl's not bad either:

new_serbu_semi.jpg

That's the new Serbu .50 caliber semi-automatic. The woman there is certainly doing a good job holding the thing up 'cause you know it probably weighs in at about 30 pounds but I'll bet it's still lighter than the competitors' versions. I love my (on loan) Serbu BFG-50 Carbine.

Anyway, I (*ahem*) borrowed this photo from my favorite new site, GunBlast.com which as I mentioned last week has a terrific gallery of pictures from the Shot Show. Heck, Mark hasn't even put up a picture yet of the finished product on the Serbu website. Soon as he does I'll add that to the links on the sidebar.

Anyway, check out the whole GunBlast.com site and remember to visit their sponsors. Online resources like theirs need your support to keep the free content coming.

She's a proponent of "size does matter!"

Is she enough to make you "shoot straight"?

Jeff, don't arm wrestle with that lady! Check out the muscles on her right arm. Reminds me that (waaaay back in my college years) a buddy of mine who was about 6'9" was always very polite and proper to my Mom, who stood about 5' nothing and weighed 115 at most. Complimented him one day on his manners, guessing it was just good upbringing. He told me it was because he was scared spitless of my Mom and never wanted her mad at him! Must have been all the house-keeping and running up and down stairs Mom did. To tell the truth, I would have rather gone up against my buddy than my Mom, and I'm only about 5'7"!

From the look of her right arm and knuckles, I'd say that's not the Scandium Airweight model.

We'll take one of each. And if we have to decide between the two, we'll take the Surbu. Our better half wouldn't mind us coming home with it.

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that.
