February 17, 2006Protecting Rights in ArizonaA good bill and two damn fool Democrats. That's how I summarize this Arizona Daily Star article:
Jeeze. Hey Brotherton, an emergency where police are unable to control rioting or looting are EXACTLY the reason legislation such as this is needed. We SAW that in New Orleans. Nothing in the bill says cops can't take guns from criminals, just not from law abiding citizens. And Hale? How is protecting people's right to keep their legally owned firearms "a license to shoot first"? What the heck does that have to do with the issue at hand? To both of you: There is never an excuse good enough to suspend Americans' rights. I hope Arizona residents vote these two losers out in the next election. Comments
I think that is part of the problem with politics today, people like Hale and Brotherton should be swiftly and publicly mocked by their peers for those rediculous comments. How sweet would it be if another senator said something like, "Senator Hale, you a most assuredly a moron." Posted by: CAshane at February 17, 2006 01:39 PMPoliteness is no virtue in the presence of immorality. The legislators that don't speak against these two morons are no less guilty of being anti-citizen. Most people don't realize that the anti-gun movement isn't about guns, pro or con. The anti-gun movement is a misnomer, it is actually an anti-citizen movement. Subjects are not as troublesome to authority overreaching its mandate as are citizens. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that. By Golly, you're reading an archived post.
