Mayor Daley & Company Could Cost IL Millions

They just won't stop trying to disarm the law abiding people of Illinois. ISRA has been all over it of course and while criminals will applaud Daley's efforts, the state has much more to lose than just gun rights. From Todd Vandermyde:

Illinois’ firearms manufacturers have told us that should any form of HB-2414 pass, they will be leaving the state, taking with them over $300 million in manufacturing. Jobs, taxes and other revenue will be lost. So once again, our boy wonder Governor’s plan for Illinois economic recovery is to export more Illinois jobs, more business and more opportunities. That is a message that you can reinforce when you call your state representatives about this bill.

You notice states that have cities with high violent crime (CA, NY, NJ, IL, and MA) have liberals that tack on gun control bill after gun control bill and the violent crime rates continue to increase?

I guess this just confirms my suspicions that in order to be a liberal you have to have a frontal lobotomy.

Kentucky, Illinois' southern neighbor has no problem with their citizens possessing or carrying firearms (open carry - no permit and shall issue concealed carry permit) plus there is no FOID. Remington has a facility in Kentucky already and A-Square as well. We would welcome all persecuted 2nd Ammendment supporters with open arms.

I think the firearms companies should get out, now, regardless of any future legislation. Illinois has gong too far already.

Derek, lefties are people who, noticing water coming in a small hole in their boat, will decide to drill a larger hole to let the water out.

Except that it won't be the lefties' boat - they'll be "fixing" your boat and mine.

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that.
