January 07, 2006What I'm ReadingOf course you care! Don't you? Anyway, picked up a paperback copy of Greg Bear's Slant and will tackle it this weekend. I've read very little by him but know he's got a good reputation so I figure it's about time. That should explain the light posting today and tomorrow... Comments
I think the only Greg Bear I have read was Eon, which I got through but found... not boring, maybe, but tough going. It should have been gripping and insanely good, given the premise. I have at least one other of his books, and Deb has some, so he's fairly substantially represented here and does indeed have a good reputation. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well.
