December 03, 2005Everything's Cool...A few folks have asked if everything is alright with me. Thank you and YES! I'm in the middle of a ten consecutive day stretch at work, with long hours, and just haven't had the time to blog. The phone thing is a slip-up and will be back sometime next week. I've been spending my money on two things: The PT-909, which I fondled last night at the Shooter's Shop. I should own it in a couple weeks. Second, I've been paying down my car loan like crazy and next week it's all over and I will actually own the Alphecca Limo. That will free up a lot of cash each month and I'm setting up a retirement account to absorb some of that. The rest will go towards a couple miscellaneous depts I still owe but the way things look now, 2006 might be the first year in many that I don't have to worry about bills every week and can start saving. Regular blogging will resume NEXT weekend but I'm trying to sneak a few posts in from work during the week. Comments
Having done exactly the same kind of slip-up myself more than once, when I saw that I said "doh!" and then dismissed it. Guess I was right. That rocks to go from debt to saving. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that. By Golly, you're reading an archived post.
