Here and There...

John R. Lott, Jr. has an an op-ed in the Washington Times showing that crime actually dropped following the demise of the AWB.

New England Republican reports that New Jersey's Jon Corzine could be in trouble. Good, the guy bought himself a Senate seat and now wants to be governor. He's one of the most anti-2A politicians around.

mASS BACKWARDS reports on the silliness in one school that cancelled Halloween. I recall reading the story yesterday and it was all of three parents who said they wouldn't send their kids to school that day.

I have to agree with Paul at Right Side of the Rainbow that the whole Plame/Wilson/Libby is BORING! Does anyone in middle America really give a crap about it? I sure don't...

Lastly, Gullyborg has up the latest Carnival of Cordite where you can find links to all sorts of fine gun-stuff reading.

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that.
