Wandering Around...

It's Friday night. I'm home from work with a couple glasses of white wine in me. I have (finally) a weekend off. I'd like to just relax but even though I spend all day in front of a computer, here I am at home glued to the blogosphere... I love the blogosphere, where all sorts of cool and intelligent (well, mostly) folks proffer their opinions on every subject under the sun, the moon, the stars...

First off, I missed it the other day but Matt Rustler's Stop the Bleating blog is 3-years-old. I can't feel too bad since he missed his blogaversary himself. And by the way, would someone please let us all know the official spelling of that? Perhaps Bill Quick will let us know. I can't begin to tell you how many nickels I owe him. Anyway, Matt at Stop the Bleating is a credit to the pro-2A blogger crowd so stop by and wish him a happy birthday.

Meanwhile, the Colossus has the latest chapter of his spy novel up. Again, you can read the whole thing so far, here.

Since I have a couple days off, this is a good time to say that I will finally be setting up my blog-novel on Tarazet, at least the layout. I'm not putting up a link now but will when it's ready to go.

In a "whiplash" change of subject matter, Cowboy Blob shows something I consider animal abuse. Allowing your pet dog or cat to get that fat is not kindness, it's cruelty and will probably result in an early death of a pet you purport to love.

And -- "whiplash alert" -- Publicola wants to know if the perpetual child actor (what is he now, about 35?) Gary Coleman is a gun nut? Don't get me started on compensation here...

Independent Sources shows that liberal jerks like Barbara Boxer, with her new book, just don't get it. Apparently, conservatives like me weren't raised in loving families like... liberals are, I suppose.

What? What?!? Heartless Libertarian reports on the makeup of .50 cal BMG ammo. Hey! I like the makeup of my ammo just fine:

My Serbu BFG-50 lives on this stuff.

I'll be back sometime tomorrow. Have a great night. And in case I haven't said it in a few days, thanks for stopping by!

Your Serbu? Has something changed? Good news if yes.

Note: Comments close down on posts after seven days and then
the comment input form disappears.

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that.

By Golly, you're reading an archived post. Click Here to head to the main page and read current stuff...
