The Politburo Diktat is asking, "Who's Your Daddy?"

In the pre-MT days around here before my reciprocal blogroll became rather large, my blog tree was actually listed and went:

BlogFather: InstaPundit

BlogSister: Bitter Bitch

BlogBrother: Aubrey Turner

BlogSon: Eric Scheie

Blog Scientist: Jay Manifold

And I recently designated Carnaby Fudge as the official Blog Physics Team.

I've never had an official BlogMother but I had always thought of MommaBear at On the Third Hand as one.

Likewise, I've never had any official BlogCousins although I sort of consider Jay and Deb at Accidental Verbosity to be such. I guess that would make Sadie a BlogNiece or something when she starts posting!

Besides Eric, no other bloggers have stated that they consider me their "blogfather", yet.

With the exception of MommaBear, who for understandable reasons is not blogging anymore, all of my Blog Tree members are still active; rather unusual in the blogosphere where there's a high mortality rate. I'm thankful for that.

I've actually had the pleasure of meeting Jay Manifold as well as Jay & Deb and MommaBear at the NE Mini-Blog Bash held last year by Dale Chan, the Weekend Pundit.

There you have it: My Blog Tree -- so far! Naturally, all the kind folks who blogroll Alphecca are BlogFriends.
