April 18, 2005My Two Moms...And then there were two. I was reading a good feature about the NRA convention in Houston that covered many of the events and exibits and came across this:
Yep. The Brady Bunch really know how to rally their troops! 60 thousand pro-2A supporters inside, 2 anti-gunners outside. That's why I have to laugh when I read this:
Right. That must be the reason why, in courts and legislatures all across the country, the gun-grabbers are getting stomped like narcs at a biker's rally. Posted by Jeff Soyer at April 18, 2005 06:37 AM Comments
I saw the protester with the sign that said, Yes Guns kill people. There were just a handful of anti-gun people there, no more than ten total and at least 10 thousand inside the convention center. Every seat was packed at the NRA Banquet and the number of protesters outside swelled to around 150 to 200. But.., the new protesters were all anti Tom Delay, not really anti-gun. The anti-gun turnout was pretty pathetic, but that didn't stop the Houston Chronicle from turning out a couple of very biased gun articles that are basically Brady Bunch press releases. Denise talks about one of the articles today over at the Ten Ring. Posted by: Yosemite Sam at April 18, 2005 11:23 AM"Actually, guns do kill people," Fascinating. I would love to see these guns that, of their own volition and with no help from people, go out and kill people. All of the guns I've ever seen just kind of sit there without the extra help. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that. By Golly, you're reading an archived post.
