February 25, 2005I Swear, the Last Post...Please don't hate me, I promise this is the last word on Michael Jackson. From ABC News:
Grrrrrr... Maybe they can charge Jackson and his entourage and the hospital personnel with involuntary manslaughter. Tough to prove, though. I hate when a celebrity gets better treatment than someone else. Posted by Jeff Soyer at February 25, 2005 01:49 PM Comments
The only "medical bulletin" I want to ever hear again referencing Michael Jackson is one confirming that he was found hanging from his shower rod, dead; and there were no signs that it was foul-play. Posted by: Ted B. at February 25, 2005 02:28 PMDisgusting as the whole lot is, I don't see how Jackson could be charged with anything at this point. After all, he didn't take that woman off her ventilator or kick her out of the room; hospital staff (at some level or other) made those decisions. (And, you're absolutely correct, it would be at very least "tough" to prove involuntary manslaughter for medical complications even for the staff who moved the old lady out of her room.) Posted by: Sigivald at February 25, 2005 03:21 PMIn all fairness to M. Jackson, he didn't demand or ask for a special treatment and even if he did, the hospital doesn't have to give it to him especially if its an emergency. I betting on MJ committing suicide or having an "accident" like too much medicine being "accidentally aministered". the comment input form disappears. Your comments are welcome. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that. By Golly, you're reading an archived post.
