What a Pisser!

Hey, enough gun stuff for one week. I just realized that I forgot to celebrate National Waste Water Month. Yup, you always thought February was a shitty month anyway, right?

Here's a quote from the Prairie_Advocate:

Now is a good time to start since February has been designated as Wastewater Month by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency, which includes septic management.

Many people take their septic systems for granted, especially in the more effluent areas of the country. Here's an aerial photograph showing the leach fields hooked up to Michael Moore's house:

Anyway, in honor of National Waste Water Month, Disney World has opened a new theme park based on the crappy movie Water World and it's drawing a flood of visitors:

So remember, take care of your septic system or you could wind up in deep doo-doo.

Accuse me of some kind of middle class reverse snobbery if you want to but I try to avoid "effluent areas".

Ah, yes! I remember having my Mom haul me out to the Dade County (Fla.) Sewage Treatment Facility back in the 60s for a tour, so that I could get a Boy Scout merit badge. (I forget which one.)

One thing I do remember. The smell was, well, amazing! (and dang near incapacitating)

Oh, BTW, I'm the same JTG, different ISP. John of Argghhh! may authenticate if either of you care.

the comment input form disappears.

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that.
