Around Town...

My buddy Will at Entropy Manor offers a good (and true) story that offers a parallel to what Bush is doing in Iraq. He's right.

I have not endorsed anyone yet in the presidential race but I've made it clear that while I have "issues" with Bush, I'm leaning towards him. From the surprisingly liberal Hartford Courant comes this Bush endorsement that is well thought out and sums up many of my feelings.

A blogger I mention far too infrequently, Ghost Of A Flea, has a brief post up with more depth in its two paragraphs than you might first realize. In any event, he mentions the remake of one of my favorite movies, Barbarella, which I actually have on videotape. Anyway, I'm not sure I've "grokked" everything packed into the first paragraph but it got me to thinking: That's all any blogger can hope for when typing away in the middle of the night...

I am usually really fanatical about washing dirty dishes and pots and pans. I've had a small pile in my sink for two days. I can't understand it but now I can blame it on "old age" and a failing memory... This has nothing to do with anything but I thought I'd inject a "slice of Jeff's life" here. Ghod, how pathetic I've become as an oldster.

From one of the best YOUNG whipper-snappers, Sol, at Solomonia, comes just more reasons to feel sick when reading about the education curriculum of the Palestinians and the hateful, murderous message they are pounding into the heads of their young.

All of a sudden, my ISP isn't connecting to anyone. I'd better stop here (I don't want to) and try to save this post...

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that.
