Didn't We Just Leave This Party?

Jeff Jarvis has nominated Glenn Reynolds for President. I think it's a great idea. So good that, in fact, I did just that in July of 2003 and even got some momentum going for it. And who could forget the terrific campaign poster Chris Muir came up with for me:

How quickly the blogosphere forgets... Except for my buddy Jay Solo who remembered....

I haven't forgotten. I supported that when you proposed it, and I support it even more today. I would with ease vote for Glenn Reynolds, Rachel Lucas, you (Jeff Soyer), Eric Scheie, or just about anybody on my blogroll over any of those running now. I would love to see Glenn Reynolds, Eugene Volokh, Jonathan Rowe, Timothy Sandefur, Randy Barnett, all or any of them on the Supreme Court. Then, we would have: Freedom!

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that.
