October 02, 2004Losing Range Time...This past Thursday, like most, a bunch of us headed to the range after work. What sucks is that we get there about six in the evening and by 7 PM it's already dark. A couple folks aimed their truck headlights onto the range so we could still see the targets but... And in a couple weeks we have to turn the clocks back. We might all have to start pretending we have dentist appointments early in the afternoon. Good thing two of the folks are vice-presidents of the company! Anyway, proving once again that I am the most unphotogenic person alive, someone snapped this picture of me as we started setting up.
Notice that the temperature also dictated a jacket (although it also helps with the bugs). I'm still waiting for Summer and it's already Fall! Anyway, I'll be back Monday morning with the "Weekly Report" and until then, thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend. Comments
I showed your photo to my wife and she said that your a good looking guy. Hey, you've got the women vote. Posted by: Marc at October 3, 2004 12:40 AMBTW, is that your Camp Carbine? Posted by: Marc at October 3, 2004 01:30 AMI am still looking for the gay guy. Posted by: Dawg at October 3, 2004 07:32 AMThat is indeed the Marlin 9mm Camp Carbine. Everyone likes shooting it because it's quiet, has almost no kick to it, and the 30 round magazines let you go nuts. I'd love to one day get the .45 version too. Posted by: Jeff Soyer at October 3, 2004 08:47 AMYou look like a real man. Posted by: Steven Malcolm Anderson at October 4, 2004 01:06 AMre: the jacket. I have a neice in Vermont and she came down to visit us in hot, humid Louisana this past summer. During her visit, we had a front move through which moderated the temps down into the low 80s. She claims Louisiana doesn't know Sh*t about a cold front. Posted by: Dennis at October 4, 2004 09:28 AMExcellent resource! I share your outlooks, and I wonder if there are any shooting matches, meetings, etc. in Vermont where people such as us can get together. I know of the Pink Pistols, but they meet in southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Mike Posted by: Mike at October 4, 2004 02:12 PMthe comment input form disappears. Your comments are welcome. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that. By Golly, you're reading an archived post.
