September 13, 2004Just Asking...Just wondering why any author who writes a book slamming Bush gets lots of air time on the ABC, NBC, and CBS news and morning shows such as the new Kelley book dragging up old chestnuts such as supposed drug use. When the anti-Kerry book (Unfit for Command) came out, the blogosphere had to drag the media kicking-and-screaming into any coverage. CBS didn't want to cover it at all. Now, of course, CBS has brought up the whole National Guard service issue once again (I thought that had been flogged to death last Winter?) and have been caught using forged documents supplied by the DNC... The bias of the liberal media just shows they will not stop at anything until they've "thrown" the election to Kerry. Comments
That's one of the reasons I want Kerry to lose (which necessarily means Bush to win). A Kerry defeat would be a defeat to the bi-assed, lying media that, when they're not smearing somebody (such as gun owners), are just pouring out more swill, more prolefeed, to keep us dumbed down. I'm glad I don't watch TV. I read blogs and books instead. Posted by: Steven Malcolm Anderson at September 13, 2004 07:10 PMAnd it's not just that they don't put anti-Kerry stuff on. Where has Tommy Franks been? His book has loads of interesting behind the scenes tid-bits in it. Where's his 60 Minutes segment (He may have had one, actually. I don't watch.)? The problem: He doesn't bash Bush one bit. Posted by: Solomon at September 13, 2004 08:30 PMthe comment input form disappears. Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that. By Golly, you're reading an archived post.
