September 08, 2004Kerry and the GunInstaPundit is all over it as is Say Uncle and Publicola. They all have links to lots of other commentary on the bruhaha as well. Another take at Posse Incitatus. I'll just add one little comment of my own: If the gun Kerry is waving isn't yet a banned gun, you can be sure that if he gets elected, it soon will be. John Kerry is a fake, phony, fraud on the Second Amendment. In his remarkably undistinguished decades in the US Senate, he has supported every single gun-control measure that EVER crossed his desk. Period. When I read about "sportsmen for Kerry" and other such nonsense (and visit here for a refutation by real sportsmen) I wonder if they all really understand how much their "sport" is threatened by him. Target shooters should also beware! Many of the guns used by our Olympic athletes would disappear as well. A vote for Kerry will gut the Second Amendment. And by the way, judging by the actions of his campaign staff, it would gut the First Amendment too. Comments
