July 16, 2004Read ThisRead this post from Heartless Libertarian. DiFi and her cronies want the US to follow UN "small arms" rules. I might have worded it differently but my sentiments are with Heartless all the way. I'm really enjoying his rants! First they try to legislate away our guns, then sue them away. Now they'll try to UN them away. The NRA mentioned the UN efforts, I think it was last Summer, or maybe the one before. Fortunately, it didn't work then thanks to pro-2A senators and congressmen. Now DiFi and Leahy et al are trying again. God help us all! Comments
I would have posted another rant on her Wednesday press release this morning, but DOIM (Directorate of Information Management-how Orwellian sounding is that? It's basically the IT dept here) has placed Blogger on it's block list. So tonight when I go home I'm going to be learning how to post by email. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that. By Golly, you're reading an archived post.
