Here and There

Michael Jennings has an interesting piece over at Samizdata on the history of British television and why things are so screwed up over there. It's rather long but provides a lot of background on an industry (there) regulated to the point of socialism is having a tough time when a "capitalist" such as Rupert Murdoch enters the fray.

Indigo Insights is reprinting an essay about a woman's right to vote. A bit of history, a bit anecdotal.

Ian McLeod takes his SKS to the range and has some fun. Also some comments on a move to ban the gun.

A rather odd piece to find at On The Third Hand but diversity is good. I attempt it here at Alphecca.

Publicola is reporting that Feinstein may have found another vehicle with which to attach her AWB extension bill. Follow the advice and get involved in protecting the Second Amendment.

Leigh Hanlon reviews the newly PC Jonny Quest DVD. At least they left the firearms in...

I've been into D&D and other gaming (including some war games) for mumble years. The attitude of deities is pretty important when one is 'creating a world'. I wouldn't write something like that one myself but I did enjoy reading it.

That shows how truly ignorant I am. I didn't realize it was about a D&D. I thought it was an actual religion being discussed...

Not even remotely. I just thought I'd present a few bits about a world with real gods. Or what the inhabitants consider gods. Once The Ki Project blog is up and running I'll be doing a revised version of the article, as well as presenting more background material for the world of Ki.

Note: Comments close down on posts after seven days and then
the comment input form disappears.

Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that.
