June 08, 2004You Can't Make This Stuff Up...I'm sometimes actually afraid to read Walter Olson's Overlawyered because of what I'll find out is happening in our insanely litigious society. I was right...
Maybe doctors should cut off Kane's head since that seems to be the source of all her problems... From what I understand, it's a rather indepth and long procedure including a lot of psychoanalysis before these "changes" are made. It's not like on the first visit the doctor said, "oh, you're a little depressed? Let's cut-off your dick..." Comments
Individuals like Ms. Kane hinder gay rights...it's sad, pathetic and depressing...but good for lawyers! (Future lawyer) jk. Very Truly Yours, Steven Neff it probably was a good thing that Kane was evicted from the procreation pool Posted by: dave at June 9, 2004 10:31 AM"Maybe doctors should cut off Kane's head" Um, I thought they did, along with the rest of...oh. Never mind. Posted by: Ken Summers at June 9, 2004 11:40 PMI can just imagine the jury groaning, and rolling their eyes, and looking alternatively at the ceiling, and their watches. I mean, really, if you're going to spend lots and lots of money to hire somebody to do something to you which is difficult or, more likely, impossible to undo, I'd think you'd think about it, and make really sure that's really what you wanted for yourself for the rest of your life? Huh? Posted by: Justthisguy at June 10, 2004 02:11 AMI have heard of a woman who had the change to a male then recently was changed back to a female. she had a religious conversion and it really did ajust that part of pyche. I dont think that happens too often. Its a huge process, and you can die or mess yourself up really badly from all the hormone shifting around Posted by: DancingRainGirl at June 14, 2004 02:24 AMIt's very sad, really. There are several of these cases running around the world and each of the litigants is after money (lots). Their plight is the result of the confusion between transgender and transsexualism that makes some people think we are all the same. You can gauge the extent of the sickness of these wannabes by the way they blame the doctors instead of themselves for their predicament and scream to the world that all TS surgeries should be banned because of what happened to them. If they could only realise they were never TS in the first place and that they lied convincingly so the doctors thought they were. kaz Posted by: Karen at August 3, 2004 10:37 AMthe comment input form disappears. Your comments are welcome. You don't need to enter a URL and you don't need a "valid" email address, either. Note though that MT Blacklist is installed to flag suspiciously spam-like strings. Unfortunately, because of the bastard spammers, the strings "google.com" and "yahoo.com" (even in your email address) are currently banned as well. So are strings such as "cialis" (a common spam) which rules out words such as "socialism". Try putting a hyphan in a word like that. By Golly, you're reading an archived post.
