From the Poughkeepsie Journal:

The Winchester Division of Olin Corporation issued a product recall last week that targets two lots of .22 Caliber rimfire ammunition. The recall notice states that the cartridges may be loaded with a double powder charge.

The ammunition being recalled are M*22™ 22 Long Rifle 40 Grain Black Copper Plated Round Nose rimfire cartridges in boxes bearing Symbol Number: S22LRT. The ammunition lot numbers — GD42L and GD52L — will be imprinted (stamped without ink) on the left tuck flap of the 500-round carton. The 1,000-round intermediate carton does not have a lot number.
