David Hardy examines the details of the bill.
Say Uncle has a nice round up on it.
So does Kelley Beaucar Vlahos at Fox News. There’s a quote from me at the end of that article. Okay, so I’m a media whore. . .
Then, NewsBusters looks at the typical bias by Katie Couric at CBS News regarding the bill.

I know you’re joking but actually, Kelley (the reporter) has always gotten my name (and my blog’s name) right, and has never taken my quotes out of context or used them against me. This is my third experience with her and I think she’s the best reporter I’ve ever worked with.

saysuncle.comThe bill requires transmission of arrest records to the NICS database, implying that mere arrests rather than indictments will result in NICS denials. Any cop can arrest any one of us at any time for any reason. This does seem effectively to change federal law to the detriment of our 2nd amendment rights. See my more detailed post on this on SayUncle.
