Obama’s Campaign Machine Pushes Gun Control
I’m sure there’s something slightly illegal about this but that never means anything to liberals. From Breitbart:
The former campaign apparatus of Barack Obama, Organizing for Action, sent out an email requesting recipients send back stories of gun violence which they have experienced.
Sami Rahamim, the author of the email, encourages readers to share their stories to prove to Congress that America needs “sensible solutions” for expanded gun control legislation.
Oh! Guess who’s helping bankroll the effort? From Politico a few weeks ago:
When President Barack Obama rolled out his new political outfit last week, he and his allies declared it would be powered by grassroots activists and change politics from outside Washington.
Not exactly.
In its first days, Organizing for Action has closely affiliated itself with insider liberal organizations funded by mega-donors like George Soros and corporations such as Lockheed Martin, Citi and Duke Energy.
When a conservative cause gets backing from one of the Koch brothers, there’s outrage — outrage I tell you — from the MSM. But, a liberal billionaire funneling money to a liberal organization? Crickets.

“send back stories on gun violence that they have experienced” is a weird sentence - a normal person would write ’share experiences of gun violence’.
They will have to throw away most of the examples:
1 - people protecting themselves, which they don’t want to publicize
2 - victims of police gun violence, which they don’t want to publicize
3 - stories from criminals:
“My friends and I were just shoplifting, and the store owner pulled out a Biden IQ on us for no reason!” [editor’s note: Biden’s IQ is street slang for a shotgun that holds only 2 or 3 shells]
“I accidentally knocked a jogger down and dragged her into the bushes, and she shot me 4 times for no reason!”
“My son was a good kid, senselessly murdered at 2 am while politely panhandling for change inside the bedroom of his killer.”

Perpetual campaign? At what point after you win your last election do you actually shut down your campaign?
Maybe a little top down, bottom up, inside out???
