CA: Yet More Gun Control Proposed
You wouldn’t think there were still any stones left unturned but you’d be wrong:
Among the measures is one that would outlaw the future sale of semi-automatic rifles with detachable magazines. The restriction would prevent quick reloading by requiring bullets to be loaded one at a time.

Those buying ammunition would have to pay a fee and undergo an initial background check by the state Department of Justice, similar to what is required now before buyers can purchase a weapon. Subsequent background checks would be done instantly by an ammunition seller checking the Justice Department’s records.
The legislation also would ban possession of magazines holding more than 10 bullets, even by those who now own them legally. All weapons would have to be registered.
What’s sad is that the Democrats spear-heading claim that they want California’s gun control laws to be tougher than the ones just enacted in N.Y.

Oh, and let’s be sure to punish the innocent and the law abiding in ways that will not have any effect on preventing future incidents, so the next time there’s a slaughter in a gun free zone we can close that last nasty loophole, and confiscate all the guns, regardless of magazine size or how you load them, from the general population….

I don’t want to sound paranoid, but outright confiscation is next in California followed by detention centers. Ultimately it’s about people control for each and every prog/socialist/communist out there. All the BS about balancing the 2nd amendment with public safety is a charade and a smokescreen. The goal is NO guns ever under any circumstance. These leftists in California are drunk with power and it’s causing them to let down their collective hair.

I have a working model of a loader that will load any fixed magazine firearm (it’s caliber specific) in a couple of seconds. Same concept as a speed loader for revolvers. Never had a chance to exploit it. Lookin
good.
