And this was during a weekday, in pretty miserable weather. From the A.P.:

Several hundred gun rights advocates — some toting rifles and holstered handguns — flocked to the Statehouse Thursday to oppose weapons bans and efforts to repeal parts of New Hampshire’s expanded stand-your-ground law.

Speaker after speaker rallied the crowd of about 300 to hold firm to their firearms and their right to bear them.

Unbelievably, one of the knee-jerk reaction bills just introduced into the overwhelmingly Democrat controlled State House (by super-schmuck House Majority Leader Steve Shurtleff, D-Concord) would scrap New Hampshire’s “Castle Doctrine”/”Stand your ground” law. People would have to retreat from danger, if they live long enough to do so.

Note that the victims of recent massacres had to do that — and failed, because the shootings took place in “gun free zones” so there wasn’t anyone to protect them.
