Father of Sandy Hook Victim has it Right
The father of a 6-year-old slain in the Newtown elementary school tragedy spoke before a hearing by a Connecticut legislative committee examining the state’s gun control laws. He said:
Mattioli says he believes in “simple, few gun laws” and that there are “more than enough on the books.”
But he said they’re not being properly enforced.
Mattioli received a standing ovation.
Unfortunately, I doubt that will sway them in their rush to judgement.

I have a huge amount of respect for a guy who went through what he did and can still think rationally.

Unfortunately the media reports one father who stood up asking for more laws and portrayed pro gun folks as bullies who chanted “Second Amendment” as he cried while holding a picture of his child.
