VT: Firing Range Bans Burlington Cops
And you know what? Good. From the Burlington Free Press:
At issue is a decision this week by the Lamoille Valley Fish and Game Club Inc. to order a halt to Burlington police officers’ use of the Morrisville facility. The action is a response to the [Burlington] City Council’s advancing a measure to ban semi-automatic rifles and large-capacity magazines in Burlington.
Training facilities are limited in the area.
Here’s more on Burlington’s proposed ban.

Sounds like a good start to me!
When you let public servants operate under a completely different set of rules than the general public then you create something of a caste system with the public servant having more privileges (note - NOT rights) than the law abiding civilian who is not employed by the government.

This is fair enough. Rifles and the like should be banned especially with the incidents of gun killing happening lately. Things really get alarming. I hope other cities would also follow.

Sarah! We still want our M1’s back! Please ship before you surrender! Sure hope Kim Young’un knows his artillery is illegal now.
You will perhaps dodge incoming, Gangnam Style?

comatus,
Sarah is a paid spammer. And a fool, judging by her comment. But, I’ve deleted her web site address link so I guess no Google link for her. Did that in another comment she left, too.

The caste system is fast becoming:
Gov’t Official
Public Employee
Criminal
Lowly Citizen
Does anyone remember reading Alexander Solzenitsyn and what he had to say about that? (sorry for the mispelling of the name)

This needs to take off, and should extend to no gun manufacturer or distributor supplying them with firearms, repairs, or ammo.
