Sen. Charles Schumer says retailers that sell assault weapons should stop offering them for purchase while Congress discusses gun regulation legislation.
So just because liberals are hoping to get a new “assault weapons” ban passed, gun stores should pretend that the ban already has become law?
Of course, the shelves of most stores are already bare of AR-15s and the like because of fears a ban will be forthcoming.

Most of the gun retailers I’ve talked to have already stopped selling semi auto rifles.
Not for any political reason, just because they’re sold out.

Shouldn’t he stay quiet and at home until we’ve finished indicting him? He’ll be allowed to speak all he wants, at the trial. No, better comparison — from the platform of the gallows.
