Finally, Good News on the Job Front
I have another couple tough weeks ahead and your donations to the “tip-jar” are a huge help right now. I’m grateful for anything you can contribute this week. I do believe that this will be the last bleg I have to make — hopefully ever.
The good news is that I’m starting a new job in December. I’m leaving car sales but staying with the dealership, moving to the parts department where I’ll have a steady, weekly paycheck. While the potential of selling cars is greater, there are simply too many salesmen and too few customers these days.
Parts are always selling and I’ll be getting an hourly pay plus splitting the commission pool. The hours will be better, too. And, I won’t have to clean snow off of 200 cars and trucks! I won’t get rich but I’ll be making enough to pay my bills. In this economy, that’s saying something.

Congratulations Jeff! I’m happy to hear you will have a steady income now. Thanks for all your efforts to fight the good fight about gun freedoms.

We always need parts. And with your computer skills I bet you will be a great asset to the dealership and the repair shop.

Congratulations Jeff!
Like others have said, I’m delighted to hear your new job will give you that much needed stability to your daily life. Now you’ll be able to once again enjoy the shooting sports that we all love so much.

Way to go, Jeff! Learn it and learn it well, as the skill transfers to any kind of parts counter, be it marine, aviation, electrical contractor supply………any kind of parts counter.
Good stuff to have on your resume. You’ll be more recession proof than most.
And parts sales go up in recessions, as folks tend to want to keep the old cars running longer.
Congrats!

Cool Jeff.
Let us know when they have a sale on muffler bearings.
And I am still trying to find a way to fix the loose nut behind my wheel.
