Sen. McConnell: Gun Control Will Take Back Seat
Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell [says that] federal spending and the country’s debt will dominate the congressional agenda for the next three months, and that debate about potential gun legislation in the wake of the Connecticut school shooting will take a back seat.
Let’s hope he means it but since the Democrats control the Senate, that might not happen. Let’s also hope (with your calls and emails) that the House (which IS under Republican control) also stalls or short-circuits any legislation. A few months from now and even the liberal-dominated media will have moved on to other things.

Now would be a good time for the so-called party f NO to actually live up to it’s name…
No more taxes without meaningful spending cuts…to turn the phrases back on the Democrats, you can’t tax your way to prosperity, and you can’t spend your way to a balanced budget.
Punishing 80 million law abiding gun owners for the actions of a deranged and generally medicated handful of evil nutcases while leaving all those precious children in “gun free zones” that are basically target-rich environments for uninterrupted slaughter, whether the weapon of choice is a scary black rifle, a red five gallon can of gasoline, or a machete is utterly senseless…
Arm and train volunteers from the existing school staffs. It doesn’t take a cop to deter or potentially stop one of these nutcases.
