If you live in Oklahoma and have a CCW permit, you can, beginning Thursday, also openly carry a handgun. We presume it should be holstered or otherwise not being brandished. From The Republic:

Oklahoma’s open-carry law approved by the Republican-controlled Legislature and signed into law earlier this year goes into effect Thursday. It allows the estimated 141,000 Oklahomans with a concealed-carry license to also carry their weapons openly.

Vermont doesn’t care whether you conceal or openly carry a firearm. There are no required permits or licenses. But, as in Oklahoma and other states, you can’t be brandishing it. Me? I prefer to concealed carry. Just my personal preference.
