WI: Gun Shop by School Creates “Outrage”
Well, outrage by some whom are opposed to it. From the Journal-Sentinel:
City and school officials here are scrambling to react after it came to light that a property owner wants to set up a gun shop kitty-corner to an elementary school.
But they’re not likely to prevent the shop from opening, and they may even be limited in what they can do to keep other such businesses away from schools.
Read the whole thing for all the details.
I should point out that just across the river from where I live, in Orford, N.H., sits a small gun store across the street from the elementary school and there have been virtually no incidents of any kind.

Leftist child indoctrination and revisionist history establishment, funded from proceeds of theft fraud and armed robbery, causes offence….
I’d better add a winking smiley, otherwise someone may take the comment seriously…

Better that a medical marijuana shop or adult peep show establishment should go in there than a cursed gun shop.
\sarcasm…
Or would the elementary school, as a place where children are indoctrinated with green and liberal lies and occasionally molested by union teachers of the same or opposite sex, give even those shops a bad name?

The kids can’t buy cigarrettes or liquor from it, so its got to be an improvement.

Here in Tucson, there has been this one gun shop that has been open for at least 30 years (changed hands a few times), right across the street from an elementary school. The only time anyone raised a peep was a few years back they put a big sign in the window with a well armed Santa just before Christmas. I guess some people thought it might scare the kids.
