Comments on: WY: Firearms Protection Act

Started in October of 2002, Alphecca is an occasional blog of OPINIONS by a conservative, gay gun nut living in Vermont. I write about politics, OTR, books, science, gun rights and the media bias against firearms, and anything else that strikes my fancy. Your opinions about my opinions are welcome in the comments and as I always say, thanks so much for stopping by.

Kindly have a look at the wikipedia article on the Nullification Crisis of 1832, and Andrew Jackson's presidential proclamation of Dec. 10, 1832:

http://avalon.law.yale.edu/19th_century/jack01.asp

Excerpt: "I consider, then, the power to annul a law of the United States, assumed by one State, incompatible with the existence of the Union, contradicted expressly by the letter of the Constitution, unauthorized by its spirit, inconsistent with every principle on which It was founded, and destructive of the great object for which it was formed."

What the states should do is define the militia in their state as all people and that all people are to arm themselves with AR-15 rifles. That way, you can't disarm the militia or ban the firearms common for militia use.
