Comments on: Father of Aurora Shooting Victim: No Gun Free Zones

Started in October of 2002, Alphecca is an occasional blog of OPINIONS by a conservative, gay gun nut living in Vermont. I write about politics, OTR, books, science, gun rights and the media bias against firearms, and anything else that strikes my fancy. Your opinions about my opinions are welcome in the comments and as I always say, thanks so much for stopping by.

Actually, under Colorado law, he could have taken his weapon into the theater. Only in a few carefully defined locations (schools, courthouses, a few others) is it illegal to carry a weapon. If he were to carry his weapon into a place that is only protected by a sign, the worst that could happen to him is he would be asked to leave. If he refused, he could be arrested for trespassing.
